Please get in touch to find out how we can provide support for designing or delivering curricular or co-curricular activities. In addition, we also provide two toolkits of ready-made resources:

  • TutorToolkit – includes a wide range of materials that can be used in a 50-minute tutorial. Each topic has a lesson plan including a session introduction, downloadable resources and a concluding activity. The materials have been designed to be used with specific year groups (Levels 4–7) and can be used for both group and individual tutorials.

  • EnterpriseToolkit (UoP Moodle site) – includes resources to help embed enterprise in the curriculum along with case studies and testimonials from academic staff, students and employers.

Advice

  • Help with preparation for recruitment and selection including CVs, applications, interviews and assessment centres.

  • One-to-one careers support to discuss options, course change and career planning needs.

Job search

  • Part-time, graduate, and volunteering opportunities can be accessed via MyCareer.

  • Our Graduate Recruitment Consultancy team works solely with our students and graduates to place them into local graduate jobs.

Enterprise

Support and activities including clinics, business start-up and self-employment advice.

Volunteering

Volunteering videos – a set of subtitled videos promoting the benefits of volunteering.

Events

Careers and Employability host a range of events. These include discipline focused fairs and the Volunteering Fair held in the Third Space as well as the annual Graduate Recruitment and Placement Fair held in The Guildhall. Additionally, Careers and Employability host various opportunities for students and graduates to meet and interact with employers. Details of all forthcoming events can be found at MyCareer.

Support for Graduates

Graduates are able to use our full range of services for up to 5 years after graduation. Distance is no problem as our service includes telephone appointments and video calls.
